In order to qualify for return, you must first qualify and obtain an RMA number from our customer service or technical support departments at 1.800.207.7935 ext. 22.  See the warranty section for details.

Upon return, the product will be inspected. Products determined to meet qualification standards will be replaced or refunded at the discretion of Surf Electronics, Inc. Items not covered under warranty will be returned COD.

Only new and unused items may be returned, with a 10% restocking fee. Refunds will not include shipping & handling costs.

When requesting a replacement: used, opened, painted, scratched, or otherwise damaged items not in new condition may be accessed a replacement fee (which may possibly be 100% of the items cost).

Surf Electronics, Inc. Return Procedure

To return a product, please follow the steps outlined below.

  1. Obtain a Return Authorization Number (RA#) within 30 days of the original ship date from our technical support team at 1.800.536.1350 ext 22 or by emailing returns@surfelectronics.com

  2. Please provide the following information when requesting a RA#: Original order number (located on packing slip), name of product being returned, reason for return, your name, daytime telephone number and e-mail address.

  3. Verify that all merchandise is in the original packaging, and that all components, manuals, cables, and accessories are included.

  4. For your protection, please insure the package and use a "traceable" shipping method such as UPS Ground.  Surf Electronics, Inc., Inc. is not responsible for items that have been lost or damaged in transit.

  5. Please use the merchandise-return label, located on the back of your packing slip or address the package to:

  6. Return the merchandise within 15 days of issuance of the RA#. Print the RA# clearly on the outside of the package. Packages without an RA# will be returned to the sender at the customer’s expense.

Return Authorization Number

A Return Authorization Number (RA#) must be obtained from our customer service staff and is required for ALL returns. Merchandise must be returned within 15 days of the issuance of the Return Authorization Number at which time the RA# expires. RA#'s are non-renewable. Return shipping charges are the sole responsibility of the customer.

Surf Electronics, Inc., Inc. reserves the right to return any merchandise without a valid RA# to the customer.  Items that are not covered under warranty and items without a valid RA# will be returned COD.

All returned merchandise must be in the original packaging with the UPC or bar code intact, and all components, manuals and registration card(s) included. Products using accessories such as toner, ink cartridges, media, batteries, film, etc. must be returned with the factory-sealed accessory or will require a deduction for a replacement. Any product that is returned incomplete, or damaged, -- if accepted -- will require a deduction. This deduction is final.

If you have merchandise that is malfunctioning or seems to be defective, please contact Surf Electronics, Inc., Inc. to make arrangements to repair the product in question. In many cases, Surf Electronics, Inc. can diagnose and resolve concerns over the phone. Please have the following information readily available before contacting Surf Electronics, Inc.:
Proof and date of purchase, model and serial number of the defective product.

Credits

Credit will be issued after our warehouse receives, inspects, and processes your return; however, your credit card company determines when the issued credit will be reflected in your statement. Please allow one to two billing cycles.

Replacement Merchandise

In order to receive a replacement for returned merchandise, you must place a new order. Surf Electronics, Inc., Inc. must receive payment for all merchandise prior to shipping any replacements. We will ship your replacement in the same manner as your original order. A temporary duplicate charge will be placed on your credit card until the returned merchandise has been received and processed by our warehouse.
